Deep County Launch with Peter Blendell

Welcome to Deep County. In 1967, fifteen-year-old Chapman Currie was a junior member of a four-man salvage crew. Their mission was to raise a one-eight scale of the Avro Arrow from Lake Ontario. It rested in shallow water, just offshore from a tiny island – Deep County. The men who led the expedition disputed ownership of the spoils, and one hid the rocket from the other. Those men are now gone, but their descendants won’t let go of their old quarrel. The locals believe the priceless relic is squirrelled away, somewhere on the island…

Join the author, Peter Blendell, at Blizzmax Gallery 3071 County Rd 13, Sunday June 1, starting at 2pm, for the launch of Deep County and author talk!

Launch of Directorate K By Peter Blendell

Everyone is aware of Directorate K, but nobody knows much about it. How does it operate? Does it have a purpose? Where did it come from and where is it going? An obscure but intriguing conjecture might help answer these questions. It speculates that if you eavesdrop on the thoughts of a sample group, then you’ll come to know what the larger collective has in common.

Join the author, Peter Blendell, at Blizzmax Gallery 3071 County Rd 13, Sunday June 25 from 2 to 4 pm, for the launch of your next summer read!
