Prince Edward County Young Authors Writing Contest

Congratulations to the young authors, Emily Taylor, in the under 25 category, and Maggie Sager, in the under 12 category!

Cressy Lakeside Books extends their thanks to the Prince Edward County Library, to Liz Zylstra for running the competition, and to the judges for their work in choosing the two winners. They selected Grim by Emily Taylor and Night in Horror Wood by Maggie Sager.

The contest:

Writers ages 25 and under invited to submit a previously unpublished piece of writing (500 – 3000 words). 

Writers under the age of 12 will be eligible for a prize of $250 sponsored and awarded by Tammy Noyes, Realtor at Century 21 Lanthorn. 

Writers aged 13-25 will be eligible for a prize of $250 prize awarded by Cressy Lakeside Books

The winning pieces will be posted on the Cressy Lakeside Books website.

Open to Prince Edward County residents only.

No limitation on style, format, or subject matter.
